Bass_Waves saying goodbye

You guys read it right. Cobalt just blew the motor. Straight out of left field.
Cyl 1 valve broke and got smashed into the head. Piston has a hairline crack in it. Happened at 8:06 PM on November 18.2016. Death to my little blue cobalt. 38k miles on it close to 39k. Motor def broke the 10k mark with crazy amounts of high psi pulls.
Part out coming soon. A lot of stuff has been claimed.

Valve sideways.

Damn sun.

Sorry to hear it Alonzo guessing your going to throw a stock motor in and sell the car. You and Adrian are kind of in the same boat but he is going to load another bullet in the chamber. How did it happen?

Gunned it in 1st and it bounced off the limiter like once. That's all it took. Right after I put in the zzp coils. AFR shot to 10. Mind you I drag race with this car and never had issues til yesterday when I dropped in the coils.
Yeah. Stock motor and leaving it at the dealer. I have no regrets. I will miss the car. The amount of fun it gave me made my life. I have the cash for a built gen 3 but enough is enough.

Don't be a quitter, do the gen 3. What else can you get for even close to the money that will be as quick. I've got the money for a camaro or mustang or ? But I'm still intrigued with going fast in a cheap car. Payments suck and you know what ever you get you will still throw money at it for mods. Load another bullet in the chamber and pull the trigger.

I've thought a few times about driving something different and by now know that I can't leave it alone. Buy something v8, and swear you won't touch it..... then throw cam, heads, better exhaust, tune, etc then there's wheels, maybe sound system, some suspension mods and now you have paid at least what it costs for that gen 3 motor just in mods to the new car, and you also have a payment.
Setup cobalt holds its own against anything, and they are cheap to fix, and still get good milage and handle well. I always wanted a vette, and still someday would like to have one, but have you priced just an exhaust or tires or heads.
Keep the cobalt and have fun with it, or throw money in a hole once again. Been through too many cars in my time and know a winner when I see it. It's called a cobalt SS and who cares what everyone calls it. Money talks and bs walks.

So anybody has a lsj head for sale?
Bottom end is paid for. Had a good talk with Jeffrey.
I'll still be selling a few little things that are unnecessary

I saw it. He took the caps off and transferred them to his ported head. That just yielded it useless.

I just threw the "lsj head" into the search on that page and it shows he also has a ported and polished head for $800.
There is also one one there from a month ago that had been totally redone for $500, don't know if he sold it as there is only 1 post on it. Jeff doesn't have any?
