So decided to do a little comparison between my old setup and my new setup. I feel like my new setup is faster but we all know how the butt dyno is. So I took a video of a pull on the new setup and used youtube doubler to compare it to a pull that was done with my old setup. Well lets just say the butt dyno isn't wrong this time!
Video on the right is my old setup. VG30, HX35 @ 20psi, JWT 3BAR ECU, 420cc injectors, Scheider 274 cams, Schneider springs, port and polished heads, 3in turbo back, 2.5 IC pipe, Z32 30a.
Video on the left is my new setup VG33, PT 6262 @ 15psi, MS3X, 750cc injectors, Same cams and springs as old setup, ported and polished OWO heads with 1mm oversized valves, same 3" turbo back, same IC and pipe, same Z32 30a.

Thanks!
Well after much though and deliberation I've come to the conclusion that my Schneider 274's are not 274's. I've always wondered why the car idled so well with next to no lope on such big cams... It is because they aren't near as big as they are supposed to be. I've spoken with other Z owners and there have been multiple instances of Schneider sending people the wrong grinds...
So I'm going to get cams from another vendor in the near future, maybe Isky or Jim Wolf. However for now I'm just going to drive it and enjoy it for a bit. Stay tuned for some ET's and traps from my upcoming drag strip trip on 15psi. Hoping to touch the 11's.

Wow you are close to me! We have a group that meets up in Kennesaw. Myself, another HHR, and a few Cobalts. I'd love to see that redline in person!

Took the turd to the drag strip today to see what it could muster up. I made up my mind that my goal was to break into the 11's with the current setup and boost level. The old girl was able to do me proud. As you can see I really need to put my coil overs in. The stock suspension does not like the power

I have coil overs waiting to go it. I'm waiting on my poly bushing kit to show up so I can do it all at one time. Should really calm that drama down.

Yeah I was pretty pleased!. I just sent some cams to Isky for regrinding. Hoping to pick up another 30-40whp from a proper grind at the same boost level. I'd really like to see 530-550 at 20psi or so. i think it can be done.

So I decided it was time to get the ridiculous squat this car has under control. Also to go through the front end because it needed it badly. The beast got new Power Trix coil overs, poly bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints and a prototype front lower control arm boxing kit from my friends at LFU Engineering to test out. It was a lot of work but damn did it make a big difference. It is like driving a completely different car! I still need to get it aligned and I have new wheels I need to get tires for but man she is starting to come together.
Coming apart
Welding the coil over adapter to the spindle
LFU LCA boxing kit
Front coils installed
Rears installed
Suspension hasn't quite settled in this pic. It is a little bit lower now.
The green clashes with my engine but I'll live.
