That's without a housing, but AGP makes one that adapts this turbo to a T3, so win-win.

Yeah. Painted the block with Duplicolor engine enamel. And the cable cover is VHT wrinkle. That picture doesn't really show how cool the cover turned out. I'm quite pleased with both products.

So I got my turbo housing in. Went to mock it up with the ZZP mani, and noticed that there isn't a lot of clearance back where the coolant crossover runs. Almost none. Seems like the one that comes on the B207r doesn't have near as large of a bend as the LSJ ones. So I need to track down one of those...

Saab crossover...

Cobalt crossover...

Also...

Picked up the 5 speed trans that I will be running on Friday. Still trying to track down a bellhousing for it though.

Also snagged some seats from a MG that fit perfectly in this thing. They need some tlc underneath, but the vinyl is in great shape.

Re: crossover pipe. Try finding someone doing an LDK swap. I don't know for sure if the LNF pipe will fit, but it's likely. Someone doing a different build snatched mine.

Decided to avoid the coolant crossover issue alltogether, and have someone make me a 90* elbow to bring the turbo up and away from the motor, and into the fender well. That ought to make fabbing charge pipes and exhaust a hell of a lot easier, and look cooler in the end.

Haven't really touched the truck though, other than sanding out the bondo that someone caked on the driver's side fender years ago. Still looks like ass, but I prefer it over how it was. Obviously that will get addressed if I ever decide to bodywork and paint this heap.

Just after starting....

It doesn't look too bad like that. I like the patina look. But it should be fairly easy to hammer those out once/if you fix that rust.

Uhhhh...

I repainted the valve cover, since I wasn't happy with it. Boring.

Hammered out the bearing races from the hubs and sandblasted those. Just need to press in the new bearings and paint them. Even more boring.

Started making an adapter plate so I can ditch the factory oil cooler and run an external one. Kind fun but not done yet.

Ordered rotors, turbo, intake, and exhaust gaskets. Not here yet.

Yeah, nothing exciting...
