rear lip options....

i have a 2005 cobalt ls coupe

wnt to get a rear lip...

options:

rk sport g5 rear lip
rk sport cobalt rear lip
gm ss rear lip

are all these easily installed on my ls bumper? i understand for the gm kit, i would need to cut slits?

options and pics of what you guys have, please.

i like the rk sport pieces...but gm look very nice too!
btw: car is black.

The SS rear lip will not fit on the LS rear without trimming. It's made for the SS bumper, which is longer and slightly shaped different on the bottom. Both those RK lips should fit fine, and there is also a GM lip kit made for the LS bumper that looks pretty good

If you put a ss lip on a ls coupe bumper, the lip doesn't require trimming...the only time you have to trim the ss lip is when you put it on a sedan.

On an SS bumper the g5 lip does require fitting. On an ls bumper its going to require work

Thanks man haha..

Onthe coupe ls/lt bumper there is not trimming of the ss lip required. Only cutting slots and the area for the grille to fit in

Yah honestly out of all the options for our cars, i think the SS lip looks the worst. i like the Pontiac G5 GT lip, then the G5 RK lip, Cobalt RK lip, and then the SS lip.

the RK ones are nicely priced, so i would probably say go with the G5 RKSport lip.

Ya. They come on all the g5 gt. I wish gm would have put the rear ss lip on the sedans from the factory so I wouldn't of had to do it myself.

pricing is a big factor as well, so far...

gm ss kit: 155
rk sport cobalt : 177
rk sport g5 : 177
gm g5 gt : 175

mmm the best looking one is actually cheapest?
