i started a thread on this, the actual meaning of the stripes. Chevy has been doing this for years from what i understand. IT started with chevy and the lemans races if i do rememebr correctly so this is far from rice, for the nut who said it, and its pointlss to have it on both sides of the car. if your going to copy something make sure you do it right. There is a meaning behind it.

In my opinion I think it's pointless now days to have them on one side of the car, even the GS Corvette has them on both sides, I also think it looks a lot better when they're on both sides also, looks incomplete without it lol.

Hey guys, new to the site. I'm actually not a Cobalt owner but an HHR owner. I'm working my way up doing a few mods and I was wondering what you guys would think about an HHR with these type of stripes? I've got a silver HHR, 2LT model...running IPCW black LEDs and black 17" Drag DR-19's. I've done lots of other small things (painted bowties...rear wiper delete...etc) but I won't bore you guys with that information. If you need a pic of my ride I'll get one up on Friday after the DR-19's are installed.
BTW, I'd be going with black stripes. After looking at the fenders and how the hood comes together with them, I think I may have answered my own question...lol
