k, so i got the dual halo projectors in my car (3rd gen black projectors look AWESOME in a black cobalt, btw... will get pics up when its not raining), and i wired them wrong. i decided to keep everything on the headlight and not wire into the harness. now i'm rethinking that. i'd like to keep the amber daytimes as my only daytime lights, and i'd like to wire the halos into the parking lights. first off, i'm not sure which bulb is the parking light, as i found theres an extra bulb thats hidden in the harness (honestly didn't know about it! lol).

so, my questions are, which bulb is the parking light, which wire do i splice into on the harness, and by splicing into that wire, anytime my parking lights are on (parking light setting, fog lights, and both low and high beams), the halos should come on, correct? i saw, in order if i remember correctly, a blue, two browns, and a black in that area on wiring... or am i thinking in the wrong spot.

 

does anyone know which wire is for the parking lights?

 

the big bulb (3157) is your park and blinker light.. i wired into the smaller (194) bulb which is the one i think your talkin bout that you didnt know was there.. on the small light use either one of the black wires for the ground and the brown on for your power.. the halos and leds will come on any time you have your park lights on like that.. and i think silv3r did his the same way.

 

which brown? if i remember correctly, theres 2 browns. i had a blue, 2 browns, and a black i think. i remember having the two browns though. or does it not really matter which brown?

i think you're tryin to wire off the turn signal bulb(the big one) and if you do that then you'll have to use a light tester to see which wire to use so the halos dont blink with the blinker.. i used the small bulb to wire mine off of.. it only has three wires goin to it..
