nose bra's for 07 ss/sc
hi all, this is my 1st post on the forum, just picked up my victory red '07 ss/sc on friday. earlier today a giant truck cut me off, and thanks to eflecting rocks i have maybe 3 or 4 very tiny dings on my hood... lovely. i've always been a fan of nose bras, and after trying to search for where i can one for my ss/sc for quite a bit on this site and google, i'm a bit stuck. if any one knows of a good site with quality products and good prices, let me know please! thanks!

fading paint, ay? is the victory red susceptable to fade? my father has an '05 c6 ls2 vette in victory red as well, his paint is fine... or are you saying the nose bra will fade it? just curious.
well my friends mom has a red neon and she has had the bra on since she got the car back in 2000 and they took it off the other day and the paint had faded to pink... and i know other people whos bra faded their paint as well

lmao... pink ****. well yea, nose bras will fade your paint if you leave them on for that many years! in reference to ****... bras on cars are, essentially, like bras on women. when they need to be washed, you should take em off
the fade i can imagine is due to so much dirt and **** being trapped under there, along with still water causing mildew, slowly eating away the clear coat and eventually the paint as well. just g2 take it off here and there and clean up those *******

bump... any1 check it out? i want it, and would also like to know personal oppions on it if any1 has a full front fascia nose bra

the paint won't fade but the clear bra turns yellow I have seen quite a few of these.
The paint will only fade if you leave the bra on all the time, you need to take them off and clean under them every week keeping the car waxed helps to. I have had bras on all of my cars and none of them have faded, but I know GM sells them for your car, I think their like 100 bucks though
its not like would leave the thing on all the time just when i am taking long trips...i do not have to get on the interstate for my daily commute so it would rarely be on my car
100 ugly bra> 800 to repaint hood and bumper
oh and about that 3m ****...i detail cars with it and i hate those things...i dont care what anyone says they are very noticeable to me and would rather have something you can take on and off

personally i have never seen em turn yellow.. cause ive only seen them on black ferrari's and AMG mercedes.. so they probably get it replaced before it goes bad.. IDK what to say to the OP.. i used to detail/wax car's for a living.. and a clay bar goes a LONG way in the right hand's my friend.

i've had bras on my tbirds for years, i take them off every car wash they come off easily, i wash under the bra and the bra itself. no fade. it'll fade if ya don't take it off yes.
yes my rack is nice lmao i wanna show it off but i have a few very tiny dings and i havent even had the car a week yet, damn truck and it's rocks cut me off!! i don't want any major ones.
as for the clear ones, my dad and i go to car shows every once in a while i see them quite often on cars. personally it's nice to have protection that is practically invisible, but i prefer the look of nose bra.
that one on ebay would fit the bill, but for now i'm going to pass on it because i do like the exterior styling of the front end, i'll just have to be careful on the highways. i'll put that $$ towards rain guards and a ingalls stiffy torque dampener =P
