Unhappy my rant tonight! n/a guys share ur thoughts

Evening or good day to you all whereever you are.. Ok I gotta beef with all of those people that have to put down or always give thier 02cents about you having an n/a car and ****! What I mean is why does someone see that you don't have a t/c or s/c have to look at you like your something else and big deal your nothing without a s/c or t/c..

I go to a car shop in town today and say, ya I have a n/a SS, dealer says, oh man you gotta turbo it yada yada yada.... I may not have a turbo and maybe don't want one cause I want to try and make all motor power maybe! **** this is hard to explain and really should'nt give a **** but I feel having an n/a engine I'm looked upon differently when either around cars that are blown or other..

This isn't directed at anyone in particular but people have to understand and get it through thier skulls that a person should not be judged on whether or not thier blown or naturally aspirated..

I'm guilty of being bias and can admit that, but try to change and understand that maybe jo blo can't and doesn't want anything but what you see him/her driving..

Don't take this personally blown guys and gals and maybe its just where I live, probably anyways but ya this is what I'm seeing.. I do stress I am NOT seeing it on ..

Thankyou for letting me share this with you.. please drive safe and remember, stopping short is not a crime

i wouldnt let it get to ya, because honestly why should a t/c or s/c person care. n/a and f/i are completely different motor builds, so really why should the two be compared. build your n/a to the max and if they hate let em hate.

Everyone thinks I have a supercharger because its an SS. I say, "No its turbocharged"
They are like oh yeah thats right.

Then I have to explain then that some SS's are supercharged, but mine never was and I put the turbocharger on it!

I used to be against boosting an engine, but damn it feels so good being bad!

The LNF will be hard to do much with for a while. Thats why I kept mine and did the turbo.
It was cheaper than trading in and I get more power. No warranty though. Oh well.

Doing bolt ons is great and you get decent power if you tune for them. If you are trying to make big power N/A and are doing full head work, cams, etc. That is where it starts costing way more than boost for less power.

our 2.4L engines have more potential then the 2.0L 's anyway so let them talk **** ,we can always make are cars just as fast.
Some kids at my school say that as well. "That car doesnt deserve the SS badge ,its nothing special", until I race there ******* buick's and honda's and prove them my SS has a little bit of *****.

My friend has an 05 SRT4 and he's even impressed by our n/a Cobalts but then I drive my car like its my last days on earth some times At least i don't bounce the needle off red line all the time but ya..

I'm not looking to spend ALOT of money on mods, mainly light ass wheels in the future, tranny stuff, proper exhaust including headers and that stuff.. heard cams are a bitch so I'll pass on those.

It doesn't bother me. I would rather have my 2.2 and have it paid off than having to bust my hump AND go to school to pay for a SS/SC or TC. But for those who do, more power to them.

I love my ss/sc but people and i mean not many people at all can jsut afford or even want a blown car. What is the big deal with having a blown car makes it faster then other stock cars. But with a 2.4 SS you car has more chance to live longer then a blown car by far.

I don't make fun of anyone's car (unless they're trashing my ride - because then they'll get taught a much needed lesson).

Otherwise, enjoy your ride and have fun man!

i got all kinds of **** when i had the low spoiler on my car
people said i got ripped off and told me it was slow a few times

i told a guy at work who owned a 2.2 it was supercharged and he still
argued with me because i took the badges off... just don't let it get to you
2.4 are still reasonably fast for their class

Hey i've got a SS/na and I wouldn't change it for nothing just for the fact that I have the only SS/na around my town and actually i've never even seen one other than mine other than on the net. So just tell them to screw off and ignore them.

usually, people that know *nothing* to people that have *some knowledge* of cars think N/A engines cant produce hp like tc/sc cars.

when i told my friends i wanted to go all motor, "uh... ok..." is all i got and a little giggle from each one of my friends.

its the people that actually talk to you about what your going to do, smile at the idea, they know what N/A engines can do.

i know tc and sc's can produce big hp numbers, but N/A can also produce a reasonable amount of *reliable* hp.

The goal of my turbo build is to make a reliable powerhouse! Sofar I am on track to do that!

I don't doubt that you can make great power going only N/A on a 4cyl. Its just that the $/hp is not that good when compared to F/I.

Cool Lots of HP in NA 2.4L

There are several relatively quick ways to get safe HP increases in your NA 2.4L; K&N SRI - 16.7 HP; AIS Stage 2 Water Methyl Injection - 15 HP; Jet Module 10708 - 10-15 HP.... each of these are take less than two hours to install and if bought right the total will be less than $1000. Want to spend a few more bucks? Install headers and low restriction exhaust for 7 to 10 HP. Will any of this change how others see your NA car? Probably not, until they try to catch you.

Its because they fear us and our auto Transmission option. They see our cars and get afraid of the day they may have to race us up a steep hill with a stop sign in the middle. Mwahahaha
