Everyone running custom or aftermarket Dp w/out cat

Have you guys had any problems running catless with a aftermarket or custom dp? I'm gettin a custom dp in April and its going to be catless, for now it will just be with the stock set up but i am saving up to do a full mandrel bent 2.5 inch catback custom exhaust as well. One question i have is, should i do 2.5 inch for the dp as well? Also please no cussing in this thread due to web filter at work lol. Thanks in advance everyone

Is it the stock dp with the cat removed or what? And if its custom or aftermarket did you notice anything besides sound?

if you have a catless and dont have HPTuners, you will get a CEL...i have the ARK CEL Eliminator in my 3" catless, and it works so far.

Fitment is def. an issue though, as we had to air chisel out part of the cars lower sheetmetal

I'm getting the rear 02 sensor disabled at the CED meet in advance, then when i get back i'm going catless so i will be fine with the cel's. But i just want to know if anyone has any problems and if they notice anything besides the sound, aka performance, flow anything like that

catless will ultimately make the exhaust louder, especially a 3" like mine. I had the stock catback on for a while and it was unbearably raspy, so i picked up the GMPP and now it sounds like an SRT-4...

mine was a zzp unit, the header seemed to be fine once they sent me the second unit, but it never mated to there downpipe correctly and has had many leaks since its been on. it did seem to gain some midrange power. not a huge amount but i think thats cause it dumps into a stock catback. but i got my new catback comming soon

Ya i'm just going custom, i've got a guy that is going to look at my headers and he said he can prolly do custom made headers to go with the dp. This guys makes the flex flanges and everything. I've dealed with him b4 for a full 3in catless catback on my 96 firebird. The dp is only 120 and headers he said could be 250 tops.
