Talking Sneak peak on the resurrection of the sleeper

UPDATED PICS ON POSTS #: 1, 10, 13, 14, 15

Just thought I'd show you guys a couple snap-shots of the car since I last posted of it in the Dec. post count thread.

Performance side:
Still waiting on...a BUNCH more parts...it feels like Christmas getting mail lol. Just I paid for it. Here is my son approving of the TB0363 slightly bigger than the stock IHI VJ11 can support 75whp more actually.

Now random pictures:

One phrase..."its going to be fun!" <-- sarcasm...i'm not lookin forward to the engine bay

Probably be up and running end of this month...early April. Tuned around mid april. But I wish people would ship my parts QUICKER. GRR!

My plans are 200whp and whatever torque. Its just a automatic, and I'm not sure how much cooler tran fluid would be w/ the new 17x10 cooler coming in. Plus its a DD so I plan on just driving not racing.

I had an 89 probe gt. I loved that car. Made more power than my current one and never really gave me problems. I had the exact same turbo and downpipe/exhaust and made around 196 ft/lbs of torque and 160 hp on stock boost. Pretty awesome. Don't look for horsepower as much as you look for torque. Believe me torque comes way easier.

You don't by chance have that d/p do you. Saves me the trouble of getting a exhaust shop to fab me one up without car.

Oh yea these are torquey little basterds. Just want that hp for top end...took to long to get to speed, but I was quick off the line.

Yeah stock turbo going out sucked, but you have to think it was the stock turbo never been rebuilt. Now the engine was 'rebuilt' 60K ago and water pump was leaking so...that ticked me off. Replacing everything under that timing cover too. Just to be safe.

Every car is different. I HATED my Cobalt towards the end. No I didn't wreck it on purpose.

Wire and boost line for gauges above steering column.

You guys do not even know what I went through on the hack job previous owner did for the stereo.

Check out the difference in size from factory to that one.

Becareful you dont strip the threads on the exhaust manifold. I had that happen and it sucked. Get the Walbro fuel pump if you haven't already.

Had fun today...well it was alright. Did probably around 5 hours of work today.

Installed water pump, tensioner, idler, timing belt, valve cover gasket, wire loom all wire(except battery wire), finished battery relocation kit in engine bay using a dual splitter, fabricated mounting bracket for under hood fuse box, ran transmission lines, removed other cooling fan.

To answer your questions: I hit the time setting on the first try. SCORE! And that is a rebuilt cylinder head.

Here is what the engine bay looked like this afternoon before I started working:

This is what it looked like tonight when I finished:

Well today I decided to install fog lights, intercooler piping, and front bumper & lights. Sounds simple, but that IC piping took probably two hours as there was a lot of bends and all(used up half of the universal kit I bought) just for a little bit of piping.

Modified the front bumper to match the cut out I did on the support. That was fun plastic all over my face that was HOT! Also spent one hour at least on the cutting for the IC to TB piping hole that I had to make larger for the 2.5" piping as opposed to the 1 7/8" factory setup.

Here is some pictures...its actually looking like a CAR again!

See its just a stock vehicle

Darn..maybe you can see the IC and piping. Drat!
