thinking about an evo (56k no no)

I've been thinking about trading selling the cobalt and getting an evo so I went down today to take a look at one and I took some pics. The car is nice inside and the recaro seats hug you, the dash is nice looking but nothing special. I like the exterior look of the car and the fact that it's all wheel drive so for calgary it would be perfect. I'm going in saturday morning to talk to one of the sales man. Anyways to the pics.

They are nice cars but I prefer a 2 door coupe over a 4 door sedan.. no matter how fast it may be.

i dont like the front of it, it reminds me of a tundra, it looks like they were doing the clay molding an someone drop a brick on the nose and they went with it

DEFINATLY DO IT!! Evos are the ****! I wanted one so bad, and it will be my next car for sure. Its perfect for a snowy area like myself and yours, plus its super quick for the price. It also offers some nice modding.

honestly i think the interior is butt ugly. that looks like something you would find in a Nissan versa. the outside looks good except for the front bumper being flat black. but thats just my 2 cents

i'd get an older Evo IX MR to save a few bucks, but that's just me. evos are definitely alot of bang for the buck, and offer some excellent mods.

The seats kinda remoind me of that one Porsche from a few years ago with those HUGE harness holes. GT3 maybe it was? The new EVO is very nice, but I'm still a sucker for the "old" ones. So clean. The new ones are slowly growing on me though. The new, regular Lancer looks WAY better than the old ones though.. Regardless, car looks GREAT in white. Do what you want though. EVO's are surely amazing machines..

i sat in the new sti within 20 minutes, and liked that much better, but im gonna wait till the new ralliart is out, detuned evo , and see what that has to bring, seeing as i felt the new lancer was roomy, but in the evo i felt so cramped, buit im also 6'3

The fact that I havent sat in one yet I can't really comment on this particular car.. But it's funny because you tall guys are all saying how you feel cramped in this car.. I'm 6'2" and in cars with manuals I actually have to have the seat kinda far forward. I hate having to really stretch to get to the clutch. I've driven all kinds of cars though (I'm a valet). The worse for tall people are regular cab S-10's with a stick. They're those old style benches that are in one piece and DON'T MOVE. **** that. lol.

I hate them. Test drove one. Wouldnt recommend it. It feels like an old person car. None of that feeling like the old ones had, where you could take it home to mom but then it'd take you for a wild ride all night long ha.
