What would it take to beat a C5?
My dad owned a 2002 vette and it was pretty sick. They 0-60 in around 4.5 seconds. So we were just talking about random stuff and how crazy it would be for a ss/sc to be as fast how how much work it would take. I'm curious what mods you would need to do so and if you could to it with the s/c without swapping for a turbocharger (and without NOS or anything). Discuss?

yea fmhe= heat exchanger.. and a 2.7 is a smaller pulley than stage 2.. but as far as beating a c5 are we talking drag race? cause to be able to do it and not break you would need alot of supporting mod's.. like full solid mount's and DR's and some stage 2 axel's so your not worried about breaking an axel. safest way to go IMO is spray or turbo swap.. spray being the slightly cheaper option..

The problem with the original question is, once you "beat" a C5 are you going to be happy? No.
Then you will want to beat a Z06 and if you do that you will want try your hand at a ZR1. Heck, why even stop there, keep on going, it only takes a few more hours of overtime.
Modding is the only addiction I haven't found a 12 step program for, yet.
If someone knows of one, please me let know please, soon.
