i think this is a good deal

went to chevy dealer today to try to see abot getting the SS/TC. of course the salesperson had no clue about it haha. meanwhile he told me he had just gotten an 07 ss/sc. i realised i have never driven one so i asked him to drive it. WOW i loved it haha and with all this talk of a ported blower i got very intrested. haha i asked for some numbers and he offered me 10k for my car and made it 13500 i would have to pay, but since i knew his son he knocked it down to 7600!!!

im not sure but that sounds like a good price. my goal was to haggle him down to 8k! hopefully i can pick it up next tuesday!

input please

so you're getting the ss/sc or ss/tc when it arrives?

I would wait personally, but that's still awesome.

thats my other option. but im weary of buying a car first year and plus i hear with the new TVS blower, the ss/sc should walk the ss/tc

what would be the advantage to wait?

its not really a first year car persay...its a cobalt ss/sc that has most of the bugs worked out with an LNF turbo engine. plus it has reworked suspension that almost eliminates wheel hop completely

Paying 13500 after the trade in would have been way too much IMO, but you ended up getting a good deal at 7600.

Do you have the vin , or is the car advertised anywhere with it's vin. I'm curious to check it's claim history.

Its old stock, they are probably trying to get rid of it. If its what you want, jump on it. If you must have the TC, wait for that. At $17,600, thats less than I paid for my LT.

You could take the SC but your stuck with the options and color it is. If you order a TC, you will pay more, but can get exactly what you want. Does it have LSD? That would be the selling point for me.
