Is that really the best one you think? I see people with K N or even AEM and also Injen or would you think it's just personal preferences?

it is all personal preference. The most popular one on the forums is the injen. That is from the polls and other threads that are posted.

just to let you know i own an Injen but if you do the research and compare the Injen to the K&N Typhoon you are going to get a lot more out of your K&N than the Injen. the only thing is the Injen is cheaper and i got free shipping from crateenginedepot.com...

last year i read an article in super street magazine while i was in Arizona and they showed the K&N paired with the stage II package and they got 247bhp out of the engine alone...no exhaust or anything. so that makes a gain of 42 bhp. not too bad. i only got 13 hp out of my injen and i hate cleaning that chrome. most of the K&N's come in a gun metal anyways.

once you start swaping inner engine parts you will be over 300hp. with my mods i am only pushing 264 bhp.

The Injen intake is what most people have on here. I'd go with that.

yeah i really dont know what it is about the Injen, maybe its the name or the chrome look and maybe when people think of K&N they think of bigger cars and trucks using them. i went with price instead of performance, when it should have been the other way around. hey and by the way there is a car show in kinston on the 4th and shorty low is going to be there but to tell you the truth i havent the foggiest who he is.
