Car has been well taken care of. I am pretty firm on price. I'm selling it to get a house and I am getting married next year so I need to save for that as well. My loss is your gain.

If I don't sell it I will keep since it's paid off almost. I owe only 1 yr 1/2 more on it.

time to move on to something better. The Cobalt was good to me but I want to get into another car so bad. It's almost paid off so I am in no hurry to sell it but if someone was willing to take it for the price they can have it. If I ended up keeping it I'd drive it till the wheels fell off of it anyways.

sigh, I have service records from the dealership only which they would need to print. I will tell you that everything that goes wrong with the SS model has happened to my car and has already been taken care of promptly.

BTW, the $9500 is firm. I cannot take it down any lower than this otherwise people might think I am crazy.

just wondering about timing belt and larger service

timing belt is fine.

I will tell you the following things were addressed under warranty,

AC Unit
Crank Position Sensor
o2 sensors
Sunroof Trim piece
Radio
The shifter (replaced with aftermarket)
Cruise Control Unit Replacement
Trim pieces flaking paint (replaced under warranty)
The seat belt

Most of these were common issues with the Cobalt. Hope this helps in your decision making.

-edit- btw mike, if u wanted to part out the catback and the downpipe, i would do that. because i have my own gmpp catback and CA 2.5 inch catless downpipe i can put on it. so that would help u because then u could sell off those parts and make some money on those (even though u said u wouldnt part out, i would do it for ya if ya wanted that badly)

That's a low ball offer. I'm not selling a $11,000 car for $3,000 less. $9500 is what I am taking for it. FIRM.

It is a great deal, and sneaky is one of the most honest guys I've ever talked to on the phone about a used car. My Trans Am is killing me in the fuel bills, and I need a FWD wintermobile, but I just can't quite convince myself to pull the trigger on the miles with the mods yet ... Sigh ... yes after 3 long hot summers the A/C needed to be re-charged. I put 2 1/2 cans of R134a and an oil treatment for the seals thru it. Took all but 20 minutes to get set for another 3 years.

The car is great "Sneaky" I appreciate it and I hope you are enjoying that 12 pack.

I got the front end alligned today and the tires flipped back to front and vice versa.

The 'tubing' coming off the value cover near the strut bar had 2 slices in it where the tubing connected to the engine and the return line to the intake. I got some new tubing and cut it to size with Delta2.2 and re-clamped it on. The engine sounded 'different' but I monitored oil pressure, coolant level, engine knock and scanned through the aeroforce and nothing seemed abnormal. Maybe I'm just hearing things I don't know.

Trouble free so far. Fast as all get out. Again, thank you for making this a win win situation, I've been so happy and REALLY excited about it since thursday :)

Have a good one.

Well the gentleman that purchased it also happens to be a brother of a member in the car club i'm part of. I gave it to him for a reasonable deal. It's not like I made a huge profit on it. Just like $300. I gave him some swag also that I never installed on the car and stock parts.

Yeah it didn't take long and considering the way the market is I think I put it up with a reasonable price at the right time.
