I live in Rolla, MO. There are about two dozen cobalts here. I doubt any of them are the club types though. Haven't seen an SS S/C.

New owner of Black Coalt SS/SC ... probaly a liitle older than your average sport compact driver ...this car reminds me of my old 88' Toyota MR2 Supercharged, fun car to drive. But I think this has more potential, etc.

I have seen alot of cobalts in union,mo and around not sure if they are on here or not.... Would like to get something going for the balts around here..

Hey 06Orangels do you drive around in the washington area much? I saw a clean orange cobalt last week by schnucks with like 5% tint all the way around. Looked badass.

I live over by Duschene so I can be seen over that way. Other than that I can be seen driving just about anywhere (I love to drive so I just cruise around all over when I get the chance).

I saw a posting that they were trying to do a Cobalt meet this Friday in the Bass Pro parking lot so I am going to try and stop by.

Mine is Victory Red, only Red SS/SC one around that I have ever seen... so if you see a red SS cruising around that would be me...

I did see a Black SS just a week or two ago at Steak N Shake at Cave Springs... and I have seen 2 silver SS... never seen any other ones around...

I get Hondas with those big loud exhaust pipes wanting to race me everytime i pull up next to one though... LOL

I live up by lambert airport and I may be the red 06 ss/sc that you are referring to in south county.I have dark tint all the way around and rain guards.Anyone know who the geneous is that has a yellow four door with a clothes-rack spoiler and a huge fartpipe and may live around st.charles.He tried to race me on 70 @ zumbehl about two weeks ago.I wasnt wasting gas on that. Hey, Sorry I can't be there Friday, I have things with my girlfriend planned. I would love to have gone though. After you all meet Friday, we should set up a meet in like spring so people can request off of work and stuff. Set it up like on a Saturday day and get a huge meet goin. That would be awesome.

good idea.. weather should be a lot better too, which would permit good pics.

here is a good idea for people who want to set up a meet.

1. post info atleast 3-4 weeks in advance if not a month or 2. reason for this is to where people can request off work.

2. dont hold a early meet aka before 10am. people dont get out of bed early enough. dont hold it to late cause it wont have pics took. after 5pm -7pm = no good for pic taking.

3. hold in good area st.charles / columbia / kansas city / earth city /

4. have contact info for the place u are setting up.

5. have a good spot picked out aka hooters / wild bufflo wings / etc. reason is good parking

6. season of meet's holding one in winter sucks cause its cold however makes great shots if the parking lot is not yet plowd . summer is a good time cause its nice and warm and pretty good pics . fall is a excellent time for pictures cause its not to hot and not to cold in my opinion / spring is also a good time for pictures for same reason as fall.

this is my opinions on a good setup for a meet but thats just me .

I just bought a 2008 Imperial Blue Cobalt. Have only had it for 5 days but really like the car. Traded in my 2005 Canyon for it. Needed something that got good gas mileage as I have to drive 85 miles a day to work and back. Haven't had anything done to it yet, first will get some tint done on it and then we'll go from there. Hey if you guys ever see a laser blue base model driving out 370 or 40 its probalby me. I drive out to columbia all the time.

what are you stage 2 guys' 1/4 mile times? Thinking about trading in my 2001 camaro ss for a cobalt ss/sc. I don't want to get my butt handed to me all the time.

I don't know how many guys are running only stage 2 anymore... but if I had to guess I would say that a stage 2 would be around 13.9 - 14.2 somewhere in that area. Traction is the biggest killer of these cars. If you can get the car to hook up you can get some pretty decent times.

where do you guys take your cars to get work done and does anyone tune them around here?

I can tune but I need the program... AJ has the program... Most of us do all of our own work.. I have done internals now so Im pretty much good to go.
