Yes, last time he went up with me, the ram that is, he has a PB of 13.89 and my PB was 13.86. We were dead even. He would just destroy me out of the hole and I would catch him top end. With his new turbo and meth kit he just owned me. 12.99 is awesome for a 6-speed truck. He was launching in 2nd in 4hi and would get into 6th by the 1/4.

It looked like Roadrage was hooking pretty good but did not have the top end like yours. Must be that downpipe, made a nice difference when I put mine on.

Our camera wouldn't work the rest of the day, sucked ass. It said the head got dirty. Look at the Ranger video. During his burnout the camera started bitching. We missed the truck beating a z06 and his best time of 12.99. We missed all of our best times. :bye:

Yeah I did pull a 2.2 before we left. I didn't get under 2.3 yet I still ran my best time. I was hoping to get under 9.0 in the 1/8th but I only ran a 9.1. I just can't believe mine had that much more of a top end than his. 2 mph at the 1/8th, 3-4 mph at the 1/4.

Should comment on the video, the first couple runs, me vs the mr2 and srt4, were not this past weekend we went. That was last season. We just compiled all of them into on video.

About not getting 13s, I only ran in the 13s twice that day, my 13.7 and a 13.9. Roadrage only ran in the 13s once with this PB of 13.9.

:) I always told people, my cars a 2nd 1/8th car, not 1/8th.

I was gonna run you on the highway going up but 1. We didn't need a ticket, and 2. you had a passenger so it wasn't really fair.

I want to know what made mine pull harder top end. Its either the DP or heat exchanger. Lets put both on yours! :guns:

The humidity blows down here right now. Last time I went to the track I could barely trap 100mph. I think my plugs had a little to do with it too, I got new plugs now I just need some good dry air....

I'm hoping to get up there this year. Probably June or July, I hope the car runs better up there than down here. I'm also hoping to go visit a friend in Ft. Worth, TX. I plan on hitting a track in that area as well. With the mods I have I'm sure it can do better than 13.81 @ 103mph. I want to know if its just Florida.

Yeah you should be. I would love to get a custom tune but 1. I don't know anyone who could and 2. I don't have a wideband so we couldn't mess with fuel safely.

I got mine done on a dyno around here. The guy says he tuned it safe. I'm starting to think he tuned it a little to safe. I'm thinking about getting one of the guys around here with HPT to make it a little more aggressive.

Hey, alright. Thats good to know. I'm hoping to find a Cobra heat exchanger, and pick up a dual pass. We data logged mine last weekend and the IAT2 temps at the top of 3rd were in the 150's. I'd like to see those a bit lower.

Yeah that seems pretty warm. I got one on mine, wasn't the easiest to install but its on there. Looks awesome I think. I didn't put a grill or anything in front of it. I had the scanner on mine and my IAT2s were around 100 at the top of 2nd and some of 3rd, but it was pretty cold out.

Nice runs. I bet the MR2 supercharged could launch way better and knock some serious time off his runs though. The dodge was hauling ass too! Very good videos non-the-less. :twothumbs

Thanks man! Just pisses me off I didn't get to get everyone's best time. I thought the MR2 would have been faster, so did the owner. He also had a '05 Spec-v with an intake and full header back exhaust. He thought the mr2 was faster so he brought it. Turns out my other buddy had an older spec-v, the blueish one, and he beat the mr2. I don't think the mr2 got under a 2.2 60' to be honest.

My buddy had a MR2 Supercharged like that, and with just some regular chapo nitto 450's he used to pull some crazy 60' times. I don't think he had anything less than a 1.9 if I remember correctly. THe way the MR2's drivetrain layout is, I be he could launch a lot higher than he was to shoot him out of the hole without spinning.

Thanks. He had Toyo T1R tires on it I believe. I think he said they were pretty worn though. He was going to put the fronts on the back but they aren't as wide. I think the front has 205s and the rear is 215 if i remember correctly. He wants to put a bigger crank pulley on it, you can't put a smaller SC pulley on them because it has a clutch mechanism on it. He wants to do a little work to it to get a little more boost out of it. It is a neat looking car for the age of it. I just thought it would have been a little faster than it was.

by the end of this month I'm getting that ZZP midlength header/dp combo. Then after that, h/e and dual pass.......then, finally traction mods, then clutch/flywheel.

^^this is my biggest problem right here, trying to decide which mod should precede the other. I figure I'll make the power first, wait for the traction and just deal with it in the mean time.

Nice. Let me know once you get that header and DP on, I want to see how your top end changes. You get that and the h/e you should have some decent gains on the top end side.

OK. It isn't that long. Nothing amazing, just something we threw together. My buddy did all the editing, i just sat back and watched. :cool:

When you watch it, the first couple races, on the 4:3 ratio, is from last season. Once it gets widescreen that was the last time we were there, like 2 weeks ago. We didn't get the best runs on because the camera bitches out, if you didn't read the above posts. The quality isn't the best either, obviously, youtube sucks for quality.
