Prepurchase huh ?

When will it be in stock and I can just order it and not have to deal with the pre purchase/production drama.

We dont plan on stocking the header at the current time, if we see there is a demand for these we will stock them.
The exhaust should be in stock about the first week of March.

You guys are out of your minds, right? After the last two pre production group purchases from TOG that nailed the redline and cobalt communities and the ScDyne that got the redline community you are joking? To top it off you are talking about a header! Yea, right o there guy.....

Don't come down on Turbotech....they are just trying to keep us updated on a product we have been waiting to here about for months and giving us a way to get our hands on it.

What is so disappointing about it? The only other quality header for the LSJ is $900 and other 2.5" exhaust systems range from $475-$800. It doesn't seem so bad to me.

Stupid question, pics?, gains?
12-1400 is not unreasonable, a friend of mine is dropping 1200 on a turbo-back for his Forrester.

But turbo backs are usually expensive to begin with but offer the best performance for a turboed car. 750 for a header is ridiculous i'm sorry. You pay that much for headers (as in 2) for an ls1 camaro/gto/corvette. Unless you guys can gain like 25 hp or more from the header, which I belive you guys can since it's a long tube if i'm correct, i'm sticking with TOG. I still have you in mind though, just have to see the gains and start saving money.

I was thinking 1k for the header and exhaust but 1400 is a little steep guys. I dont think it would be a dumb idea for Vibrant to sell both for 1k instead of only selling 500 and having people look elsewhere for a header.

It is a header and downpipe so while I agree 750 is a lot of money, I don't think it's too much if it's nicely done.

I believed there is another setup that runs about 900 dollars for the IRL.

I honestly don't understand how a header can be that expensive. I mean come on now, $750 for 4 metal tubes merging into a collector?? Sure its custom designed and tuned for the Cobalt SS S/C, but I don't see what justifies that kind of price. You can pick up a nice set of headers (apair of 2 manifolds) for a Small Block Chevy for $250, what makes these so much more expensive??

is it a header and a downpipe with cat? the stock downpipe is 440 dealer and the stock manifold is 200+ thats say 650-700, so i guess 750 is a good deal....

Wish i could have it sooner. i can't wait that long to fix the balt. it is my only transportation.
