I was thinking that we could all plan a big Run sometime this year. Where people from all over, Nevada, Cali, Arizona, New Mexcio and so on can meet and go for a cruise somewhere. I was wondeirng what you thoughts were on it and if you have any ideas on what we could do. I thought it might be fun and we can actually meet other members of the cobalt community.

Hells yeah! Maybe a Grand Canyon meet/photoshoot. That seems like a fairly central location. Maybe 4 corners? I've never been there.

Laughlin is a great place.. It would make the perfect spot for a run.. And its not that far away from everyone.. I know its only an hr away from vegas..

Maybe do a dyno day at RevItUp while we are there

I was thinking the Grand Canyon because you can take photos in Gran Turismo 4 with the GC background, why not do it in real life.

Laughlin and Vegas would have lots of cool lighting at night. I have never been to Laughlin, but in Vegas it would be hard to find good spots to stop and take a photo on the strip, or around the lights.

What ever we do I will need to know a few weeks in advance, cause I work 6 days a week.

Actually Theirs a lot of spots on the strip that you can pull over and take photos.. I know of a few places that we can stop at. Is anyone free sometime next month? That least gives everyone time to see?

while there are lots of good places to take photos, there are no real places similar to those in the game where you can actually take pictures of cars

Don't they have it where you can only drive so far up now till you have to ride a shuttle up anywhere in the grand canyon???

you can still drive pretty damn close but be ready to wake up REALLY early to do it ... it's not exactly like the canyon is unknown. and yeah a shuttle will drive most traffic to the canyon

Wifes, G/F's, Kids, anyone is allowed to go. I think it would be a good opportunity to show off our cars and to meet everyone and just to have fun. Thats why i was planning this, Is just for us to all meet and to have a fun time.

I was just up at the canyon in november for my honeymoon and we had no problem with traffic or "old people" and your allowed to drive all the way up to there and park within 100 feet of it. im suggesting if we deside to do this it would be best to do it on the "offpeak" of tourism. when its colder out, and as far as bringing wife/gf/kids etc: I dont think most of us have a choice not to bring them ;) ,

Grand Canyon would be cool, I know you can't get that close like in the game, but oh well.

The last (and only) time I was there I forgot to bring my glasses. :cussing: It would be nice to see it in detail this time.

Maybe we could get a poll going for this thread...may be change the title of the thread to draw more interest.

Just settle a place and a time at least a month in advance. If you build it they will come...I know I will.

New thread started with a poll. I couldn't figure out how to change the name of this thread and start a poll. So I created a new one.

Thanks
