Drakonen2000 04-09-2008, 02:02 PM RAW, do you guys have a bracket to mount an idler pulley on in place of the SC pulley on the turbo cars? just a quick thougth...but wouldnt it make more sense to just run a shorter belt and skip the SC pulley....idk...jus my two cents 06black 04-09-2008, 02:05 PM the 2.2 / 2.4 alt have totally different field duty cycles and amprige(sp) outputs, and wiring. if i went that route, i would have to toss away my current 400whp tune and start over because ALLLLLLLL my fuel settings would be junk due to the car having to run at a lower voltage. i fought that nightmare with Dans car, its something i dont wish to do again. its taken me months to get the tune to its current state, i definitely don't want to loose it. ColeJJones 04-09-2008, 02:06 PM agreed but the belt was tentioned on the pulleys a certain way to run them. I dot know for sure how it would work. I would have to go look. but yes it does make sense Drakonen2000 04-09-2008, 02:07 PM the 2.2 / 2.4 alt have totally different field duty cycles and amprige(sp) outputs, and wiring. if i went that route, i would have to toss away my current 400whp tune and start over because ALLLLLLLL my fuel settings would be junk due to the car having to run at a lower voltage. i fought that nightmare with Dans car, its something i dont wish to do again. its taken me months to get the tune to its current state, i definitely don't want to loose it. hmm...well...good luck...and if they dont have it, maybe a custom fab? couldnt be too hard to cut up somt steel plate and fab up a second idler pully RS75GT 1SS 04-09-2008, 02:09 PM Not a good idea, just buy a shorter belt. 06black 04-09-2008, 02:10 PM custom fab is my specialty, most my parts have been so far. i'm just on a tight schedule that i'd like to stick with if possible. we shall see, hopefully they'll respond. Not a good idea, just buy a shorter belt. wont work either, the 2.0 alt is clutched, it'll only spin on way. if you remove the blower, your now spinning in the direction that the clutch wont grab. Sales@rebelautoworxs 04-09-2008, 09:56 PM Yes we do Have a SC delete Idler pully. 06black 04-10-2008, 01:48 PM fuckin baller. i knew i had seen it. pics, pricing, availability. 06black 04-11-2008, 01:58 PM Bump for info!!!!! hungryhip-ccp 04-18-2008, 05:51 AM fuckin baller. i knew i had seen it. pics, pricing, availability. i would like to know this as well? |
