on May 10th.
It's looking like I may have some free tickets for this event.

I am looking to have a meet and caravan down to McCormick Place.
The show hours are 5pm to Midnight on Saturday May 10th.

I was just on the phone with GM, Yes i will have free entry tickets (i noticed online they are $30.00). Also we are working on early entry so we can get in early and have a meet and greet with the models, check out the GM display plus they will have goodie bags, tee shirts, posters for us.

Tickets were printed too late for us to get them out to you so we are going to plan B.

Plan B:

We will be using wrist bands, the wrist bans will be at "Will Call" at the event.
I need a list of everyone’s names so that they will have a record of you at Will Call when you get there.
Will Call opens at 3pm, and we will be having a reception at the GM Tuner Display at 4pm. along with the models, goodie bags etc. Remember to bring your camera as this will be a huge photo opportunity.

Please PM me your name so that I can get it to the right ppl.
I do have a limited amount of wrist bands and these will be for Cobalt owners.

My buddy with the kitted Cavalier is sitting in front of the GM Tuner Source booth...which from what I saw, the booth is looking to be a sweet setup! Show is a pretty decent size this year too! Well sadly, it appears the aveo wont be in the show. I may be there, but the aveo turbo kit is still lacking a few components, we thought we'd be able to overcome. Im not happy announce this, but i will provide pics later to show the progress we did make.

Yeah, when I got home I was pleasantly surprised to find the nice hat and shirt! that red balt, we are good friends, i wanted to see how much i stand against a stg 2 balt...i was quite impressed even with my brother inside the car.

for me the best part was the drive on highway, the traffic did suck, the tunnel part was pretty cool.

we tried to get the kit completed and ready in time but we kept running into small problems that we would have to run to the store for or run all the way acrossed chicago for. we devoted at least 24 hours of total work time trying to get the kit in, and that doesnt include travel time. we were pretty pissed to say the least. we got alot done to the kit but the whole weekend was sort of a fail because we couldnt get down there. sorry guys, but, if remember correctly there is a dyno day coming up in Milwaukee, so i hope to show up there but i dont have any details. /end hijack

Yeah, I was there wondering aimlessly around the GM booth, waiting to see what was going on. I tried to make myself look obvious by having my lanyard hanging out of my pocket, but no one paid attention. :lol: But yeah, Brandon is the only Balt owner that I met. But, there's always future shows.

Hey, this is the first chance I've had since last nights HIN show. I really didn't know what to expect but right from the start when I got to CED I knew it was going to be fun when a ton of you guys beat me there.
Now that we all know how to swap out a grill kit thanks to Efren. I wish I had my camera for the cruse down town, not too often I see Cobalt's flying past me one on either side lol.
I had no idea how big that show could be. Thanks for everyone that was able to join in. I also want to thank GM Performance Division and Chevrolet Racing for hosting and supplying the goodie bags and entry to the event.

Sorry I didn't have my camera but I can't wait to see the pics everyone else took.
