Took the TVS Redline to the track - 13.11@110
first track night of the season and they shut us down at 930pm due to moisture on the track and the Outlaws skating all over the place.
I am currently running the 3.1 pulley on a 'safe' tune, meaning that I am opening the boost bypass at ~220kpa (17-18psi boost) to keep the 60lb injectors happy at ~76%-~78% duty cycle.
run1: 13.267@108.85, 2.0
run2: 13.215@109.78, 2.0
run3: 13.286@109.17, 1.9
run4: 13.116@110.03, 2.0
run5: 13.353@109.78, 1.9
still running the stock clutch and axles,
so not too bad for the first night out in 6 months, yeah I definitely felt a bit rusty, but still managed a hair better than my best time with the M62 w/2.7 (13.146@105)
I like how the trap speed is noticeably higher with the slicks on, that's almost a 5mph improvement right there as compared to my best slick trap with the M62 (105.8).
Even exceeds my best street tire trap with the M62 (107.74).
I also liked the consistency of the runs, it kinda felt like this setup with the TVS was sorta helping me out a bit, because even though I felt like I botched up a couple of the launches and shifts, the run still went well.
oh, and I also want to mention for comparison purposes that the 3.1 TVS runs were using my street tune with pump gas and the meth injection.
Whereas, the ol 2.7 M62 runs were using a tricked out track-only tune, race gas, and meth injection.

now people can start claiming LS1 kills....
(my camaro did 13.20 @108 stock, for reference)
Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there's alot more left in the supercharger, but i agree its good to be safe at first

TVS w/3.1
60lb injectors
K&N cai
water meth injection
front mount cobra heat exchanger
header w/3" exhaust
traction bars, motor mounts, tranny mounts
Hoosier qtp dot slicks
I have in-car video avail if that's of any interest, I just need to d/l it off the video camera and upload it to youtube or somewhere.
hoping to get back to the dyno real soon....
he trapped significantly higher. That's what it's about. with 20psi +/- he could be mid 12's for sure. since the tvs isn't pumpin hot air like crazy either he could probably safely push more on it than on the m62...you could go low 12's for sure with a smaller pulley and some more traction work...

would love to see that vid
thank you
1.9's and 2.0's
(as listed after the times I posted up top there)
I'm still formulating a game-plan for the fuel system, but yeah looks like it needs to be done sooner rather than later.

ya the times are close but like stated above the speed is a huge improvement and with a better tune and some traction easy 12's and better yet with some more fuel and more boost youll be deep in 12's

nice times. It kind of sounds like your top end was dying off since you didn't net a 12sec time. Even though you trapped 110, I'm betting that all the power came from down low and mid range, especially since you had the bypass opening at 17/18psi.
Nice to know that it's trapping that high though! Keep up the good work testers!

I look forward to figuring out the fuel issues and put the 3.5 throttle body back on.
I did my initial tests with the 3.5 tb and no limits on the boost, so the TVS w/3.1 pulley was more than happy to run up the map pressures to around 260kpa.
Now that was impressive!
I gotta admit it was the first time since I bought the car 3 years ago that it was actually a bit scary to drive on the highway, it made my adrenalin pump (which was kinda cool cuz that hasn't happened in like forever),
and also was the first time my car has broken the tires free in 3rd gear while accelerating (on stock clutch). That was freaky!
But due to the fueling issues and screwy maf readings I elected to back things off for now and find a safe zone (at least to me).
Definitely think I would have busted something if I had left it like that.
surprisingly, the 1/8th times were about the same as my M62 w/2.7, so I thought that was pretty good for the TVS w/3.1
it made the extra during the last 1/8th and it was still pulling strong at the 1/4.
