fuel Questions "everyone think about it "

so i work at yamaha and im lead teck took me 2yrs to get there but im there, plus im ASE certified and updated, harly davidson, suzuki, victory, polaris, this is just a small back ground of my self. .. im just saying i know my **** sorry power trip..

ok heres what ive been seeing.. fuel is how much? depends on where you live! with gas prices going up and up.. people are useing only the cheap stuff and less of us are useing premum fuel. and are fuel is getting older. at my work we use only 93 in all bikes and atvs. ive noticed that the fuel is going bad much quicker.. its aged all ready before we get it.. and when it sits in a fuel tank for about 2 mo. it just seems that my carb cleans and fuel systems cheaning has doubled. and even the fuel injected units suffer from this but taks longer. its **** gas compared to what we were getting.. im not saying the tanks go dry but they do put less 93 in then they do 89...

so now my question is should i build a engine to run on 89 and still have power.. F/I or whatever.. what would it take to do so?? would you drop the CR maybe retard timming.. im not sure yet about how to achive this goal.. wounder if it could all be done with a simple tune.. for it??

these are just some of my thoughts latly....

The gas is going bad because they changed the chemicals they used in it. About 5 years ago you coulda left the gas in there for over a year with no change.

Learned about it in emissions a few weeks ago.
