Planned Mods

ok as i said b4 in another thread...im gonna list the mods that im planning to do to my car...future plans may or may not include a turbo so id like to keep that in mind somewhat....any input, suggestions, comments etc would be appreciated as im a n00b with "tuner mechanicals"...so here goes...

Modern Performance:
Eibach Sportlines $220
Prothane Motor Mounts $48
LED 3rd Brake Light $21

Gravana Tuning:
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch $400

Cobalt Addiction:
DC Sports Strut Brace $109
Aeroforce Scan Gauge $220
A-Pillar Dual Gauge Pod $60
XTC Down Pipe $250
CA Header $200

PFYC:
Whistler Fuzion Radar Detector $240

Turbo Tech Racing:
Magnaflow 2.5" Cat-Back $500

A few questions...
Does the DP with the high flow cat cause engine code problems??
Whats better for me? The Aeroforce Interceptor gauge or the Autometer D-Pic gauge??
What is the "standard book time" for a clutch installation on the 2.4?

DC Sports Strut Brace $109
Waste of money IMO.
Not a performance oriented mod if thats what your going for.

As far as your exhaust, I like the set up. However if you stick with GMPP you dont have to worry about codes, Although Im not sure if they have a highflow cat.

I wouldn't worry about the clutch right now.....we really don't need to upgrade unless your boosted or running cams + full boltons.

Yea but the brake light only costs twenty bucks. LOL. If I spent 100 bucks or so on a strut bar Id say it helps too. Go for the sway bar, that will actually be worth the money due to the way the rearends are, it will help take out a lot of understeer. I have driven an ss/sc with a strut bar and didnt even know it had one till we got back to my buddys house and he said he got one and put it on.

Strut bar kicks ass! I know, I have one!

Rear sway kicks ass! I know, I have one!

Both were nice add on's you WILL notice if you drive your car even a little hard into turns.

I have the ZZP Header and D/P combo with high flow cat it throwing a code but only cause its confused. no performance loss tho runs like a champ but slightly rich but im told the headers will do that with a stock tune but mines also on an SS so i dunno if it will varey from the 2.4

yea that will happen with pretty much any high flow cat.. a tune / shutting of the rear o2 sensor would fix that..

and sean unless i can fix my rear o2 sensor i'll need a tune before that something about not passing inspection with a cel on
