Soon to be in the 11's if not 10's! Purchased tons of goodies.

FYI, I have no pics yet (as they were just ordered).

But for the lowdown.

NOS Intercooler sprayer w/ purge kit.
Devilsown meth injection
IPT Performance 4t45-e race tranny
BFGoodrich drag radials
62 lb injectors

Boring out the HAHN Header & Turbo to increase efficiency.

Im also looking into a new throttle body.

Custom 3" exhaust with electronic cutout.

and a new tune.

The tunes being done by myself and a guy at a local dyno shop.

We're looking to be at about 350whp, and shooting for 11's.

In a few days im going to be ordering an RKSport Ram air hood as well.

I got the funds for a full engine rebuild if need be. But im going to try and push the limits of the stock 2.4.

Its supposed to handle 400bhp reliably.

and ralliartist, yes, ran a 13.593 on a shitty track while it was sprinkling out, only got 1 run in before it started raining bad and they called a rain out.

im at 253whp right now and im running 13.6's.

id be adding an additional 100whp, plus drag radials, and nos. high 11's, low 12's is more likely

its the hahn kit, GT28RS, 10psi.

Trap speed was 104.

The new injectors with a custom tune will put me at 350+whp.

also getting some turbo cams as well. gonna look into the LNF's cams and get a more aggressive cut.

yeah not to knock ya man but it took about 450hp for my buddies 2,200 lbs. neon to run a 10.8 1/4 mile. so i think your aiming a bit high. but you'll make good power with the "goodies" you are buying.

and from what you said the nitrous is just going to spray the intercooler, not the motor. you wont see an incredible power increase. itll be nice but about the same at the strip as spraying a fire extinguisher to it before the run. just get custom ground cams. theyll always be better than off the shelf parts. and youre already spending big money why not a few bucks more for that

Bah, how dare you compare a neon to a cobalt :P

in all honesty, i am certain i will be in the 11's when i am done tuning it.

gotta figure, at 350whp i'll be hovering the 400hp mark.

plus with the tranny, it should be a nice combo.

i'll keep you all informed.

im not looking to make the car dependant on nitrous to be fast, hense the I/C sprayer.

I think 11's is realistic number for that car. You said you have a racing tranny? I don't think many of these folks have driven cars with Fully built Racing trannys to understand just how much they actually gain you.

I think you'll get a low 12 second pass. To the non believers, go look at hahns 2.4 solstice...yes it's rwd but stock internals it pushes something like 440whp and runs 11's or somewhere around there

Good luck man. I hope the enigne holds together for you
