So far I am not impressed by any brand of exhaust... I think corsa, borla, magnaflow are all too ricey.. I still have yet to hear Vibrant, flowmaster, or Dc.. but I guess I am just going to wait untill somthing surprises me.. I am looking towrads something more throaty, and load. What do you guys suggest? (sound clips would be nice)

Borla is probably going to give you the best sound out there. IMO. As well as performance

It going to sound different because he is next to a wall, and it echoes. My camaro sounded so nice when flooring it in an alley way.

Thumbs up

magnaflow is the only one that has a different sound (that actully sound great) the borla, vibrant, Gm "race" style all will sound like my ricer exhaust setup w/ less rapiness (they have a resonator i dont ) POP's and all

If you guys can find a way to mount the HKS Cat back to your cars that would be the best option for you 2.2 guys. I used to have a 2.2 Ion QC3 before getting the Redline and I had the HKS on it and it sounded as perfect as an exhaust could sound, low barely noticable at low rpm and a low clean, no gurgles or pops, deep tone up top. I wish I had clips of it but there are some on streetfire from other Ions with the HKS. I paid about $550 from Saturn Motorsports for it but it was damn well worth it. Now if I could only find an exhaust like that to fit the RL...

Did you expect a camaro sound from a Cobalt? No matter what exhaust you put on it, it's going to sound "ricey"...it's a 4cyl.

Sorry man, you could run an LS1 open-header and it'd sound badass.

4 cyl. cars aren't that way. Personally I think the best muffler is a Garett T3/T4 hybrid. I probably won't change up my exhaust until I have such a muffler.

i dont know where you get off saying corsa sounds ricey but i can vouch for the touring model exhaust and its quieter than stock then not loud or ricey at all at wot it reminds me of a biger engine actually, corsa is fine if you want a respectable sound or no sound at all really until wot

If you want it to sound like muscle.... get cams, a borla muffler and a resonator
