What kind of Blood Runs in your ride?

Yeah I know its kind of a stupid Question but What kind of Oil are people running in their rides? I just started runnin AMS full syn. 0-30 in my ride and love it but its not cheap. Then again i feel that when i had my first Civic that I ran syn. in it for years and didnt seem to have engine problems until i went cheap on oil. I have to add that my car had a lot of mils on it- 260k b-4 someone stole it then i went and got a malibu maxx LT- i need the space cause of my work. My next Car ( play toy really) is going to be a SS tho- well unless the women lets me buy a G8. I love the sound of 4 doors and 350+ hp. So let me kno!! Dont knock it till you try it- if you going to try it rock it!

5w-30 Royal Purple.

Runs smooth with it that is for sure, but any synthetic will do the trick

Yeah when I looked atthe top motor oils Royal Purple and Ams where the top oils! B-4 that I was a castrol man. Full syn of course well till i got cheap. Outside of that I know my uncle rolls a BMW and they use full syn. mobil 1 and the y drop that out at 15k but I know that AMS says wit their oil filter and 0-30 full syn. that you can go 20k reg driving or bout 17 under hard driving. Thanks for the info guys. It makes me fell better wit da newer ride that im not the only one in the sand box wit some high dollar stuff running through my ride.

Every 3000 miles here. I like my oil fresh and clean especially with how my cars get abused.

yeah i looked at that Eneos looks like great stuff but its not cheap. On one site its like 45.00 a gal.. Ams 0-30 full syn is like 38.00 but then again when it comes to oil whats a few duckets. What you think bout changin oil every 3k tho? You having a shop i've read stuff that says most ever reg oils can roll 5k in your car b-4 a change? Sorry if its a nubbie question. I know that wit the full syn you can go through extended dain cycles. every 3k unless your driving your car really hard doesnt seem long enough- sounds like the oil companies tryin to give it to us.
