when the pics dont come out so well..understandably cuz it was dark...a little explanation would be useful...


so what did you do?

 

they are the led tails. heres the link for them. i bought the chrome ones and then decided they were too bright and so me and ss/sc king tinted them with nightshades. i think they look alot better now

lol.. i didnt have anything to do with that. it was on it when i bought the car unfortunately. and i cant take it off because it wa painted on. its supposed to be pinstriping lol

i painted the front and rear grilles metallic silver. for once, i think i did a good job. i also made a shorty antenna from the stocker and painted that. yeah my camera blows haha

 

im all for doing whatever makes you happy when it comes to mods for your car....

but i cant get past that pinstriping...its so superfluous...

you can get it off...any body shop/detail shop will do it...
sometimes we get trades at work that have painted initials on em or faded crappy looking stripes and we always get em off

edit: try stuff called aftalene...its like a mild paint thinner...just make sure you buff out the area afterwards

 

i would like to take it off but i cant afford to get it painted over lol.. someone said to use acetone? would that work? and if you looked at my car closely, you could see that its already starting to come off in some spots. mind you i bought the car brand new in nov

 

Yeah you took off most of the chrome! Looks better IMO. Now all we need to do is convince you about the tail lights for a darker appearence. AVS tail light rings around the stockers would look badass on the Sportcoat tinted red you have there! Hint Hint!

they wouldnt paint it over...theyd use the stuff i told you...its called aftalene and its used as a general cleaner...i use it to get dried bugs off the front or grease splatter off the sides and ****...works great

7MP doesn't mean it's junk, that is plenty for good photos. And, getting more MP doesn't mean your photos will be better. I believe everyone is referring to the horrible night photography. No lighting, odd lighting, etc. Having headlights light up your camera doesn't mean it will light up the car, thats what flash and/or exposure is for (along with a tripod unless you have a ridiculously insane camera).

and no you dont really need any special tools besides a good rag and some of that **** i told you about

like i said make sure you buff the area good afterwards and just watch out and make sure you dont rub the clear coat off...which shouldnt be a problem
