Air Vents

How do I remove the air vents on the dash of our car?? I was thinking maybe a small screw driver to pop it out but I am not tryin to break anything.

The blades you mean? I think the whole vent area is molded in IIRC so you can only take the blades out, not a clue how to do it.

Mine was molded unless they came up with a really convincing seamless way to attatch it, like hid the seam where it would separate REALLY well.

^^^Yep, molded. Cause I think he was talking about that actual trim piece that goes around the vent.

I think the exploded view picture makes it look worse than it is...

You have to remove the a-pillars, the trim piece under the windshield, the trim under the dash and around the radio, then the dash cover and some wiring connectors. The guts of the vents are all below the dash cover.

I'm not sure what you're up to but if you need them I have part numbers for the dash cover and the center vent assembly.

Yeah but he wants the pieces that look like they go around the vents I believe - I'm guessing to paint them, to take the "vents" out you're really only taking the little blades out.
