New Class
New Class
Well this is the first of it's kind around here Auto performance class dealing specifically with superchargers, turbochargers, it specifically covers stand alone engine management, systems, fuel systems, turbochargers, superchargers, nitrous oxide, ignition systems, and the use of chassis dynameter as a tuning tool. we get to use a wide band and it's a mustang dyno. Also I get my intake (Injen) on Friday and dyno Stock on Tuesday and put the intake in to dyno a before and after sweet huh the class is 16 weeks so if the GM stage2 kits come out I can dyno those before and after too!!!
Hey I wanted to ask is there anything I should know about the instalation of the injen intake? and how long or far should I give the car to adjust for the new air flow?

You might have to bend the mounting bracket a bit to keep the filter from rubbing against the fender. Also pay attention to make sure the tube doesn't rub on any metal. I had to cut a piece of rubber and put it inbetween the intake and where it was making contact. The intake is great I can tell there is a power difference, it feels like the car reacts faster to throttle input, my gas mileage also increased. I havent taken it to the track since the install but i'm sure it will improve my time a bit.
Ah man me too I get $750 in late january plus some of my own cash and I have a credit card I should be able to get the kit oh yeah my birthday is on the 3rd too so I have more cash it's gonna be sweet to do all these dyno pulls and tuneing for free!!!! My car so far has 14,000 miles on it I gonna record it going over 13999 in the morning maybe I'll post that lol.
If you have the 2.0 SS S/C...https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/injen-intake-installed-2-0-ss-11167/
