so my dads looking at getting a new car, so i went to test drive one of his choices mazda3, so i was talking to the salesman and he said that when the car first came out, all the salespersons got together with the high ranking associates, and when he asked what the price was on the new car all they said was, "we're not going to tell you, but when it rolls into your showroom with the price tag, you'll be pleasantly surprised". so its not the salespersons screwing up their job, its the people that run the company not sharing info with them. this is completely pointless, just thought id share tho

I would have walked out at that point. That is a really pathetic tactic.
As a former GM salesman, I can tell you that GM left an right hands are a long way apart.
