why is there oil under the spark plug cover

Did someone spill it when they were filling it up? If so, that's exactly where it flows to if that happens! ;)

Is it possibile that when you were changing oil that you spilled some on top of the motor and it ended up under the cover?

Tighten your spark plugs.

i kno but its like everwhere like it was on th motor mount screws and in the throttle body well on top not in its jus wierd u kno what im sayin

Did your dip stick pop out and spray oil everywhere at some point? Or did someone with Terrets (sp?) do you oil change last time?

i had to re trq down the head cover bolts under that area after i swaped it out for a high polished cover... there was oil there too for me but was fixed after i trq'd down the cover bolts

befor i got my balt, i had this problem with my old saturn. i changed the valve cover gasket n after tht i had no more oil!

dont miss the hole.
