My BIL's mom works as a saleswoman at a dealership in southern Manitoba. She found 3, and they all pretty much said "HAHAHAHAHA no"

Ahh well, now it's an excuse to get an 09 Sedan

Agreed, I have an 08 SS on order in Ottawa, but if I can't get out of my current lease, that car will be available. My target build week is June 16, 08. From what I understand, no Canadian cars have been built yet. Be patient and keep your eyes open.

Only problem I see with getting an 09, is that it will arrive just in time for winter On the upside there may/will be a new display, optional black wheels, new colors and so on.

Disagree, you can most likely get your wheels powder coated for whatever GM would charge. Unless your car is a lease...

Thats a possibility and the SS rate is currently 2% higher than the LS/LT/Sport APR.

I know a dealer that ordered 30 Cobalts in total. They are getting 5.

1 out of 5 US buyers is going with a small car. So Canada will get the leftovers. It's just like the old days. GM can justify a relatively huge margin now with limited supplies up here.

Argh!

lol high interest. If I have to wait until September, I'll buy out the car in cash. No monthy payments for me!

Thats what I was told originally. If all goes well I will have my car sometime in May. Murphy's law says it won't though, so I'm not holding my breath.

I just talked to Don Howson in North York and the sales rep there said that they are getting five SS/TCs in about a month, also mentioned that they would be getting their hands on a ZR-1 since (apparently) they are the big vette dealership in T.O., oh and they confirmed that the 2010 cobalt SS is getting the flux capacitor.

Ok, I made that last one up but c'mon...5 SS/TC? Maybe, but kinda goes against the current thinking. A ZR-1? Not sure about that one, but I'll take it for what it is...whatever that is.

Last but not least, these SS/TCs seem to be available, since she said I'd be able to grab one of them.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is this possible, or are they just blowing smoke?
