I'd like to hear some sound clips as well. I have always favored the pacesetter exhaust system's sound. I really hope they make a stainless steel version for the 2.0

It has no resonator?? I bet it will sound raspy but I guess we will see when someone gets it. Oh just saw its less than $200 that is really inexpensive.

Damn, that is cheap, although i dont like the end tip or muffler. But if you wanted a better sound and less noise, you could always go down to your local muffler shop and cut of the muffler and tip, and throw a magnaflow muffler with a better looking tip on it and you got a nice system for cheap. I think thats what im gonna do, the price is just to good to beat ...

The tip removes with a simple single bolt. there would be no need to cut.

One thing is it is made with mild steel and not stainless steel there is most likely where most of it went.

the only real thing you have to worry about with Pacesetter exhaust is rust. That is really the only problem I have heard about with these exhausts. So just be aware if you live in a state where rust could be an issue...

Just make sure you keep the tips clean, because they will rust.

I had their dual exhaust system on my 1999 Mercury Cougar. I loved it. It had a very Euro tone to it. Here is the clip I made of it like 3 years ago.

Thumbs up

Man.... that sounded real good. Hopefully it'll sound even close to that on our 2.2L 4 cyl's. The name Monza is fitting for these exausts it seems.... Monza sounds brutal...(to me anyway)

Would you have gotten one if Aaron had said the price was $450.00? I'm interested but all my money is going in the fridge while I wait for Koni to start selling shocks that fit the Cobalt.
