rip tintcoat ss stg2

yeah so i guess im just looking to vent a lil

i was trying to do a "friend" a favor by going up to pick up his girlfriend for him as his vehicle is quite unhealthy so by abt 7 pm we were on the road. it was suposed to be only a 3 hour round trip that ended up being the entire night and then some.
it had been a very wet and rainy week and on this night it continued to rain, not a violent rain just slow steady precipitation. headed back from her college we were producing speeds around 70 mph on a long straight section of i 84 just outside of scranton pa.
instantly the car veered out of the left lane and into a 20-25 foot clearing in the median.
the ss slid for 78 feet and then rolled for another 188 feet where it came to a stop on its roof....

thanks guys yeah well the thing is i happened to be the only one wairing a seatbelt the guy in the front was not and nor was the girl in the back seat welll she was in the back seat until she was ejected from the rear window and was found laying in the grass about 15 feet from the car. she spent a few nigths at the local hospital and was then flown to a specialist in philly for a week. she suffered from minor cracks on a few disks on her back but the doctors all said she will make a complete recovery. the guy tore a few ligements in his left arm and had slight damage to his rotator cuff. and i ended up with a small laceration to the ear. pretty much seatbelts are the shittt anyone who talks **** about them should get smacked around. and yeah im not exactly sure how the girl is doing because that "friend" now hates me and is being a complete ******* and doesnt have the slightest clue on how to handle the situation.

insurance- is the man
being finacned the car was fully covered i ended up getting a check back for 6900 added up i had 11000 out of my pocket invested into the balt.

haha no sence in boning the girl, she has some crazy cast on from what i hear thats from her neck to her hip.

Wow...I'm glad you are all okay.

Now, no matter who is in my car, they are FORCED to wear seatbelts. Otherwise, you don't ride with me. Period.

i was issued one citation, driving to fast for road conditions.
i happend to know a state trooper who knew the trooper that was at the scene.
went to court the other day and got it reduced from 4 points to no points the judge simply changed the violation to something failure to brake properly so that was awesome and haha the kid that is pissed at me is even more agrivated that i didnt get any life changing citations hahaha 125 bucks and im clearrrr

Damn, those look like some pretty fine tires to hydroplane in, were there 20 other cars rolling through the ditch too from hydroplaning? I doubt that was it, I would call a GM rep, and have an investigator look into if it was a tie rod/ball joint failing.. I am pretty sure this has happened to other people but not at this magnitude..

im not so sure abt any failure i mean the wheel was perfectly straight the entire time the left wheel was completly intact and the right wheel was found on the other side of the interstate
its possibel but we looked the suspension over pretty well and there wasnt any sign of mechanical failure also to my asumption the wheel would have atleast jerked around.

yes i did learn a lesson drive your own ass to get your gf, and im now back to driving a jeep yes much more likely to roll over but i am much more cautious in a vehicle of this type.
