MPG w/ Hahn Turbo Kit

Hello everyone,

My name is Brandon and I'm new to CobaltSS and I just wanted to check and see what MPG everyone is getting with the Hahn Turbo Kit on there 2.4L automatic? I'm just wanting to get some figures in my head because I want to be quick but not be a gas hog either.

it depends on how soft you drive... lol im sure having a TK on your car will make you lose MPG because you might get on it more.... i know i would...

No No, I'm not getting a turbo to get better gas mileage. I'm just trying to balance the two out. Quickness & MPG.

Ouch 10mpg loss is huge. I wouldnt expect that much of a loss, it seems like it would be 5 mpg tops, seeing how the FI ss/sc gets nearly as good of mpg as the lower balts.

When cruising the kit should use no more fuel than stock.

Well see the Cobalt is the only ride I got. And I use it everyday to go to work (daily driver). Well I work in Charleston, SC which if you haven't ever visited there, it is stop and go traffic. If you guys think the turbo idea is bad, do you think I should just stick with the basics like intake, exhaust, and ECM & TCM tune and call it a day?

I agree however as stated before having a lead foot doesn't help any. No offence to anyone.

qft and paul was making about 28 mpg on his turbo setup .. so no one can bitch about turbos making them lose that much.. there's no way you're losing 10 mpg in any way shape or form.. hell the 2.0 only gets aobut 5 -6 mpg less and thats more of a mpg ***** then a turbo is
