Calling the dealer today to get an update on where mine is, i hate waiting their stupid 6-8 weeks for my car!

 

they have told me since 2 fridays ago. it is being shipped and will be in tomorrow. its really pissin me off.

mine was suppose to be in on May 2nd and my family owns the place so i should get it very fast but I still havn't receive it yet, my uncle said 2marrow it should be in

called gm DBC this morning. still on batch hold.

right now ss/tcs are like unicorns. only available in your imagination. i called my salesman today for an update and this is what i was told: "there has been no updates in the system since they revealed the vin number for your order. also some plants are on strike but i don't know which ones. they usually update the system on tuesdays but that my day off so call me up on wednesday morning and hopefully there will be news." so the original promise of getting my car the first week of may is obviously out the window, at this point its not looking good for the second week of may either. another week of no updates and i might jump ship for the wrx i've been keeping tabs on at the subaru dealerq

 

I'm seriously thinking about getting a GTi. Not because of the wait, but because GM Canada is screwing us up here. When I ordered my car, the sunroof was supposed to be free, now they are making me pay for it... I don't even want the damn thing, so pissed.

The GTi seems to me like more car for the money... opinions???

VW is offering 0.9% financing and they recently cut the price of the car by $1600. It is slower, but that can be fixed in the aftermarket.

Delta2.2 has one, but his was a hook up from someone at GM. A beta tester if you will, he has had it for over a month now.
