You know that lower left hand tray under the dash? Has anyone left it open after getting something out of it, only to accidentally knee the thing with your left leg when getting out of the car? I've done this multiple times now (half of my own stupidity for forgetting to close it), and lets just say it doesn't quite close right anymore. I suppose if I would've had a legit sunglasses holder built into my sunvisor, I could've saved myself a few bruises and even more cuss words. At least that's my story, and I'm sticking to it...

 

Yes, and damn I've hit the **** out of it a couple times, I don't know how I didn't break it or knock it loose.

 

Never have hit it, just close it right after I use whatevers in it.

yeah when i was with my girl i forgot to close it and smack right as i got out i thought i broke it but it just dont close all the way... (if you have parents on your back its a great place to store you no what )

i never use it.. i just open it to pop my trunk if someone needs in there while i'm in the car.. then i close it right back up.

 

I did it once when I left the car running, popped the trunk, and got out to see what was rolling around in the trunk. When I hopped back in I slammed my knee into it. It should have been on the right of the steering wheel IMO.

 

broke that thing long ago.

 

second time in the car I hit my knee and broke it. Now I have to yank on it to get at the truck switch.

Well it's good to see I'm not the only one out there who's done it. I've been debating for some time if it's just a bad design location or if I'm just a klutz.

I've hit that stupid F*&k'n door dozens of times. Bent the tab on the left side once, I've hit a few more times. Broke tab off, I replaced it with a small screw, works great! I haven't left it open since!
