You probably got oil on your maf. You need to clean that or your CEL wont go away. What kind of filter did you use?
To answer your question, disconnect the battery for a little, and then connect it back.

Some do, although K&N's is supposedly guaranteed not to. Check your MAF sensor before clearing that CEL or it will probably come back.

To clear it, either disconnect the battery for a couple minutes, or get an ODBII scanner and clear it that way. They're a bit pricey, but it'll be 60-80 bucks well spent. You don't wanna be taking it in every time your gas cap pops loose and sets off a CEL (like mine does on occasion).

you should have a filter that uses no oil, like an AEM dryflow. I have one on my car and never got a CEL from my intake.

Like someone else said, disconnect your battery for 10-15 mins to reset the computer.
