damn all its saying is that theres no cd in my cd player... But there is a cd in there and it will not come out!!!!! So all i can play is this stupid ass radio and its pissin me off

any advice??

 

do what I did, get a digital video of it, take it to the dealership and show them when you turn your car in....I did it for my wierd aux thing and my service guy got me a brand new one the next day....

 

You must of shoved the cd in or pushed on it to hard when it was feeding in and the auto feed mechinism is out of line with the laser.
(skipped a tooth on the gear and now disc does not line up with the laser)

Same thing happens with a dvd player if you shove the tray in to hard instead of letting it go in on its own or by using the button.
This can be fixed quit easily on a dvd player, so I am assuming that the cd player would be the same
but you will have to get in at it.

 

i had a friends blazer that had this happen.. I unhooked the battery for like 30 seconds and it actually worked.. honestly i didn't think it would. I was just doing it because i figured she'd have to go back to the dealer and have it replaced and she didn't wanna do that, so she kept complaining until i tried something.

 

take it to the dealer, have them pull the part # to order a new radio, wait for radio to come in, have them replace and program the new radio, and whenever the company (that deals with radios, clusters..etc) receives your radio they'll ship you the CD(s) they removed from it

 

mine did that and I actually loaded a cd on top of it some how, but it would kick it out after like 1/2 a second. I held the eject button down and it finally decided to spit it out. May happen again and not work, don't know......

 

I've had that sometimes as well. It just won't let the cd's out because it says it is empty.

 

It doesn't work cause your car needs some sweet ass headlights in it first!
