Want To Buy: SS/SC Front Lip

I have a 2.4L. For those who have purchased the SS/SC lip for your 2.4L, how was fitment and is there anything I need to know before buying the front lip?

I would like to purchase a black lip.

I believe it's pretty easy to put on. Just some clips throughout the whole lip. Should fit perfect.

I've heard you have to drill holes in your stock bumper?

I have a 2.4 and put on the back lip. I had to buy a SS/SC back bumper so the lip would clip into the bumper. Its the same way for the front. I guess you could drill holes, but that would just like shitty.

Unlike a 2.4 vs 2.0 rear bumper, the 2.4SS has the same front bumper as a 2.0SS/SC, just w/o the lip. So I believe the lip fits right on with minimal modification the the stock 2.4 front bumper.

False... wow people this has been discussed over 100 times,

The SS lip WILL NOT fit your 2.4L bumper. You need to purchase the 2.0 bumper as it has the long skinny holes required for the lip to attach to the bumper. You can attempt to cut them yourselfs but i wouldnt as they need to be 100% perfect for it to fit right.

you can also cut off and sand the taps on the lip and then not worry about the slits in the bumper.. many people on here have done that

the slits are marked on the inside of the bumper.. if you say its not easy you are wrong.. its about as easy as coloring in the lines in a coloring book..
