a lot, all i can tell you. I dont even want to know what they will charge, and Ive even been turned down by a couple tranny shops because they dont even want to touch mine. So Im doing it myself.

in most cases if you put in an aftermarket clutch the dealer will most likely blame any future problems that are even somewhat related to the tranny on it.....

i know that but can they blame that because the clutch is a wearable item

They can, yes. The manufacturer's obligation does not extend past stock parts or power levels. Does not mean they WILL, but they CAN, and understandably so.

Best advice is this...if warranty protection of the driveline is important to you, install a stock clutch. If you don't mind rolling the dice on warranty coverage of driveline components, then do as you please...it's still your car, after all. But it's also your choice, and as such, you bear the responsibility for the choice you make. You can't expect the manufacturer to bear responsibility for those choices.

Forgive me if that sounds harsh, but it's the truth! :twothumbs
