Turbonetics Turbos Coming soon!

So I work out at Summit Racing Equipment and the Turbonetics guys were out here doing training seminars today. Don’t know if any of you are familiar with there products but I have been running one of there turbos and intercoolers for 3 years or so. I mentioned on another post that I’m getting a Hahn kit for my cobalt. Well good news for the rest of you because Turbonetics is going to release a kit for the Ecotec this year. Their kits are a little pricey but are very complete, for example here is what is included in the new Scion Tc kit. T3/T4 E-50 Ball bearing turbo, Spearco Intercooler, Raptor BOV, Evolution Wastegate, Unichip engine management ( piggy back system that can be used with pocket pc and Bluetooth capable), Stainless oil feed line, synthetic engine oil, taps for the oil feed and return lines, Stainless down pipe with WG dump tube, Turbo manifold, Black chrome intercooler piping, silicone hoses, K&N filter, 4 oversized drop in injectors, T-bolt & V-Band clamps, Nuts, Bolts, fittings, Brackets… the kit is about 4 grand and has two versions on with or without the high-flow cat… the all parts are warranted for a year no matter what the rep explained that if you drop the turbo its covered, if you forget oil its covered, if its race or competition vehicle its covered. I’m going to try to find out when exactly it will be released and keep everyone informed…..

Turbonetics makes some BADDASSSS turbos.... I used one on my 93 Eclipse GSX that I had a while back... They are a very SOLID company that really backs up their stuff... I'll hold on to my money, and wait for that kit!

He hinted around the summer, they are getting into the domestic and truck market now that honda has sort of slowed down. the turbos are great they have 2 of the 8 balancers in the US that balance the turbo housing at actual speeds of 60 to 100 thousand rpm. summit is going to carry it i already talked to our purchasing people, so when i find out i will let everyone know.

with the 350z kit they included a prepaid fedex box to send them your ecm. then they reflash it to have boost reference and longer injector pulses, the turn around is 2 days... they are working on kits for the stangs, ls1, eco, upgrades for srt

There are already some turbo kits for the Cavalier that have been released by companies like Hahn and such. They've been around for quite awhile, I'd just google it I'm sure you'll find something.
