Meguirs quik detailer

Does anyone use this and know if I used it on a waxed car that it will not take the wax off?

I use it and it works great. You can use it on a waxed car,it gives the car a very nice shine. It also lets you know when it's time to wax your car again if it takes awhile for it to come off.Just make sure you get the new detailer in the black bottle.

Oh they have something like that? I bought the stuff in the red bottle. Is the black bottle the gold class? Cause if that is the case I'll return it to walmart and get that somewhere else (cause I didn't see it there).

yea, black is gold class. the red bottle works well too though. you'll be fine using it. just don't use it in the sun, and don't let it dry on the car and you're all set.

Black Bottle is not gold class, well they have a gold class in black bottle, but the good stuff is the Ultimate Quick Detailer.... Awesome stuff... The normal redbottle stuff is great too.

So how exactly is it used? Do you just spray on and wipe or do you hose down the car first?

You can try the hosing & spray/wipe, but I don't think it's the best for that. If you're looking to replace the bucket of car wash, then you should be looking into Optimum No-Rinse Wash & Shine. ONR is excellent for washing the car with the mixture in a bucket or in a spray bottle for when the car is lightly soiled or dusty.

The way I use the Meguiar's Quik Detailer is after washing, while drying the car to ease the drying and prevent water spots, or for removing very light dust. I also use it while polishing to prep a dry polishing pad, or when removing broken down polish residue.

Whatever you do, you should use Microfiber towels when it comes to any wiping down of the paint, preferably thicker, higher quality MF.
