ok so last night im out racing some friends of a freind one who had a STOCK 99 Si well needless to say he held with me all the way from 20-around 100 and past that i never pulled more than 1 car on him... now i looked at his car b4 the race and no NOS or forced injection of any type... so im wondering what the hell is wrong with my car... i think it has to do with the tune i got last week... mods in sig! thanks for ur help.

 

That shouldnt happen, they (99 Civic) are like a high 15 second car stock, you should be in the mid to high 13's somethings not right!

 

Was it really hot and humid outside? My car really feels like crap when its above 90% humidity and 80 degrees. Your car should still be better than that thou.

i know nice COOL weather i think it was like low 60's last night and not very humid so what im thinkin its my tune because i got almost no real power out of my tune. so im goin back to stg2 with a 2.9 pulley. and see how i do then! because honestly i felt a bigger differance when i just put on my zzp header than i did when i got tuned!

I know my car was running like crap so I took it to the exhaust shop and they said my dp wasn't flowing properly. I never seen my boost go up so I never thought to check there. I have a new one on the way now

 

That cannot be true at all. Intake + Full exhaust and I'm slow as *****. He either has something under the hood he's not telling or there's something up with your car.

If that was what you dynoed with the tune, either your car hiccuped, had bad gas, or he was lying. There are ways to hide nitrous. Even with bad gas you should have walked him.

 

WAIT THATS DYNO TUNED WITH THE 2.85 IF SO FIND A NEW TUNER ASAP
