Going with some bronze rims on my cobalt (which is black) just trying to think of a good color for the caliper. Going to be getting them powder coated here in the next few days.
Was thinking black, but i kinda want something that stands out a little more.
any ideas?

Color match to rims maybe?
I like Blue best on the black cobalts personally, but I liked the red on yours matching the SS painted on the H/E.
whatever color you go with, i'd recommend keeping the H/E SS paint and calipers the same color.
my calipers are already red, i can repaint the H/E not really a big deal.
I want something that will flow smoothly with the bronze/black

i know they're already red....my point was that even though I don't typically like red, on black, i like the fact that they were color-matched with the H/E
so, with that in mind, repaint the H/E whatever color you go with. I wouldn't do black on black...but personally I think color matching wheels, calipers and H/E would be slick.
i've always believed color schemes to be best-flowing when limited to 2-3 colors. simpler is better. so I'd go with as much color-matching as possible. black would be great for this too, but you want something that stands out a little...so i'd go with the color matched bronze. maybe even paint the SS badge on your trunk to match (black or bronze)
i'd vote for you for CoTM (again) if you did it up that way
