just got my weapon r put it on last night fairly easy install not as big or complex as i thought it would be however felt the power gain almost immediatly in take off and high speeds or top end power only thing is they gave me some type of stupid metal bracket and a rubber stopper which i had an idea where they went cause the directions werent to clear but i didnt use them the thing fit like a glove was a little concerned it wassnt gonna clear the hood but it did sound reallly nice around 4 to 5 thousand rpm

check that thread it shows what the metal bracket is for... its suppose to help support the pipe, so theres not allot of stress on the rubber connectors (especially going to the throtle body)

you could use either one they will both get the same temp air i think, with my injen short ram on many occasions out of curiosity after driving a while i open the hood and feel around the filter and nothing is hot, when you take the stock airbox out it creates an air passageway from inside the fenderwell into the engine bay and still feeds it the outside air, this may be a reason why weapon r says they get better gains then the cai's do since if you are already getting ambient air onto the engine then a longer tuve to the fenderwell is only hurting performance, i would say either intake is a good deal with a slight edge to the weapon in gains just keep the injen a short ram if you get that one
