Some people might agree this is a corny little concept, naming your car. But I take a little pride in how I take care of my car. I decided to name my car "Raven" because that's the name of my full-blooded Black Lab dog back home in MA, and since I'm stationed in FL and never see her, my car is my refuge.

I'd kind of like to hear if anyone else out there has a name for their baby.

 

My car is "Penny" because when test drove her I found a penny on the ground right next to the door. I picked it up and put it in the cup holder. I figured if I was going to buy this particular Cobalt--and if it was meant to be--the penny would be where I put it. 2 days later I went back to buy the car. It was in the cup holder.

I've named every vehicle I've owned.

There have been about a dozen threads where i was going to ask what Brian MP5T`s problem is.

I don`t think i have ever seen him say anything positive.

I don't name my cars and call it nicknames, but for the site and cardomain, I dubbed mine the "Yellow and Black Attack" after the Styper album of the same name.

I agree. Brian is one of the most informative guys on this site, I'm sure if you understood humor that you would realize he was making light of a relatively stupid thread...

 

I frequent several forums and I have not been removed. I am outspoken, but most can see through the Insult to find the humor and message.

My comments are simply that this board has so much more to offer and people clutter it up with ****. That type of questions are for chatrooms and AIM.

It's like when you are in highschoold and a your girlfriend calls just as your going to go to bed and sais "Ummm, I dunno, I wasn't doing andything... I Miss You... What are you thinking about...I Miss You..."

No personal disrespect to the originator of the thread, but I'm sure if everyone tried a bit harder to come up with better questions and answers here, you'd notice a big diference in the quality of the members that frequent "SS" and everyone would actually learn rather than just Fluff Each Other Off.
