I didnt run this weekend. Still breaking in the dp. Ryan in his SS/NA ran a 16.12 I think. The yellow stage 2 SS/SC ran a 20.61, and a fe 16's I think. I have some pics from the burnout competition I will try and post up. I will be racing in Greenfield once you tune me lol.

lol. I have no idea. But he slipped second really bad and then it was all over. The cobalts are dumb when it comes to that second gear you cant just jam it in there.

he didn't try after he slipped second. He thought he lost his third gear.

well as long as his car still works fine that all that really matters blowing it up would be worse than running 20's

I run in the mid to high 15's in my Aurora. You guys should be quicker than me with your weight advantage. It does take some practice though to perfect your technique. you guys should be somewhere in the high 14's.

I am hoping for somewhere in the 13's once I get the hang of it. I am still waiting on my meth injection to come in.

yeah that was me that ran the 20.61. i came out of the box fine and hit 1st,2nd and then when i went for 3rd the tranny wouldn't pick it up so i costed down to the finish.
second run i did i took it down slow to make sure i had all the gears and made a 16.1 slow pass. but i have to get gm to look over my clutch to check it out. still not working the way it should. slipped a few gears when i came home.

Did you ever get the dealership to look at your clutch?

yeah they told me it was all in my head. i really don't think it was. i will probably get a spec 3+ clutch and get it in and call it done. i plan on doing many more mods so the new clutch was gonna have to be put in so only thing that changed was that it got higher on my list of things to do

Yah, thats weird though. The stock clutch should handle the power your putting down no problem.

No offense, and hopefully this will not start a rant, but if you own an Aurora, why are you posting on a cobalt site? Just curious..

Yah for sure it was an expensive weekend. I was thinking of getting a clutch but I might just wait for the winter. I want to get my hood, trunk and HPtuners before anything else.
