Question Monthly insurance payment?

Can't make up my mind b/t 09 SI or 09 SS...ugh! Maybe this will help! For those of you with the SS/TC, how much is your insurance monthly? How old are you and do you have any incidents on your record? Just wondering what the diff. would be compared to the SI. Thanks!

...sry, bored so I had to make it pretty!

well i had an 07 Si w/nav and it was a great car but I just sold it for an 08 SS/tc because it really
sux to not have power until 6k RPM. The Si's powerband is really small and you need to hold it between 6-8k RPM, plus the SS/TC gets better gas mileage.....

As for insurance it went up $8.00 to the grand total of $68.00 a month for full coverage.... Granted
I'm married with kids and over 25 soooooooo of course it would be lower....

You suck...maybe I should get married haha jk. I want the power of the SS but the looks of the SI...maybe they should just merge the two cars to make me happy! Lol, don't I wish! I got quotes a while back when I was looking at a 05 SI for 150/month but that would go down when I buy a new car b/c my second incident willl have dropped off by then. Unfortunately I can't get any true quotes through progressive on either the new SI or SS b/c it won't give me trim options. But I don't think the old quote I got is that bad considering I'm only 21.

For someone who's 21 with minor incidents and no accidents the rate should be roughly 120 a month. The closest I could get to a real quote was something like 148/month or 530/6months.

Just go spend the F-ing hour on the phone with the insurance company asking them.

They made commercials about people who ask for insurance info from other people. It doesn't matter what I pay. Ever seen the commercials where the lady is asking the starbucks employee what they should make their deductible etc?

One call.....it will answer ALL your questions. No ifs ands or buts.

I have an '08 ss/tc and I have a speeding ticket on my record [was going 30+mph over the limit] that won't drop off till may of '09, so right now I'm paying 208 a month, but that's only because my family's used the same agent for 30 years. But the car is in my name, and I'm not under my parents anymore. I got quoted at another place for $424 a month I just LOL'd in his face and hung up haha.

I'm not spending an hour on the phone with any idiot until it's time for me to actually buy the car lol. Plus it would be pointless right now since my accident hasn't dropped off yet!

one factor to keep in mind is, the civic si is rated as one of the most stolen vehicles in the US. could make a difference.

BTW, i hate all you people who pay <250$ a month for insurance

I have a 97 civic hatch right now that for some odd reason hasn't gotten jacked yet even though on VAdriven there are like five thousand ppl. a day saying theirs just got stolen lol. I don't know why I haven't been so lucky...I think I would pay someone to steal my car. Any takers? Haha jk. But the new car on the other hand is a totally different story...

I'll be at $1008/6 months. I'm 23 and have a red light ticket but it didn't affect my insurance. This is MN where it's no fault so insurance is pricey. Now I just need the car.

I think it's MORE of a waste of your time to talk about it online. We don't know this crap.

Hey I pay $95 a month for my Mustang GT and that's with 1 speeding ticket. But what good does that do you?

My insurance was $145 a month on my cobalt SS, but that doesn't do you any good either.

Mines about to drop in September too :-) Big ole 25yo discount, but I really don't know how big of a discount that is.

Was thinking about a mugen, but I'd rather not and use the money I would save on mods.
